EDIT
So someone asked me, how was a reflection talking to Kellin? Why didn't he want to go to the hospital? Is it some mental illness he has?
I thought I would put a quick explanation here, in case anyone else was wondering
The reflection is kind of a mix of something supernatural and mental illness. Only Kellin can see the reflection and no one else, though the reflection jumps to another person nearby after their current person has died (so in this case, the reflection would jump from Kellin to Vic) Obviously its appearance would change but it would do the same as it did to Kellin. So it's more supernatural, but it could be considered a mental illness
And about not wanting to go to hospital, the reflection ingrained in Kellin's mind that he didn't want/deserve to be saved, and that he was better off dead. The reflection's aim is to kill the person they are the current reflection of, and in this story it succeeded.
